Twenty-one E & M employees, friends and family joined over 50,000 participants in Sunday’s Race for the Cure in downtown Denver. We walked in celebration of Kim Maynes, a six-year breast cancer survivor. Thanks to Kim’s hard work, the team raised $2,100 for breast health, care and research. Over $1 million was raised at the event. Women, men, children and dogs all ran or walked in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation – wearing all shades of pink. There were pink shirts, wigs, feather boas, tutus and even a flamingo costume. It was an inspiring sight to see the mass of people walking to find a cure for breast cancer.
It’s not too late to donate. Go to E & M’s Race for the Cure website here.
